Book-Study/Practice Discussion Group

This is a peer-led book/practice discussion group that meets Sunday afternoons every four to six weeks. Participants discuss Buddhist concepts encountered in the reading and how they apply to practice in daily life.

The group is reading Best Buddhist Writing of 2006. (Melvin McLeod, ed.)

Next Meeting: July 22. Please read up to Page 148.

Because these discussions involve the application of the readings to daily life practice, this group is more appropriate for people who have already learned the basics and are practicing them off the cushion as well as on. But everyone is welcome, and if you've been thinking about joining the group, this is an ideal time to jump in.
